Be jolly

Goodmorning! Another christmas card to show today...
This card was made with an ornament die from the Quickutz Jolly gift set from a few years ago. I stamped it with the Snowflake Circle stamp from Hero Arts and distressed the edges with 'Shabby shutters' Distress ink. Trees and sentiment are also from the gift set. Patterned paper is from October Afternoon and the hanging stars are from Papertrey Ink.

One of those days

It's one of those days you wish you could skip immediately. I have a terrible headache and nothing is going like I planned it....
I decorated my christmas tree yesterday, and this morning the lights wouldn't burn...those kind of things

Today's card is a simple one, but in my opinion, those are the best (and no I didn't make it today, otherwise I would have felt not so miserable :-))

For a special someone

Last week the hubbie was in England for business, and he discovered a little scrap store overthere. He brought me a cute little stamp set with Rudolph and his little elephant friend. I kept this card very simple, just stamped it with black ink on a kraft card and then coloured it with my derwent pencils.

Let it snow (please...)

The weather is quite unpleasant overhere, wind, rain and hail. It feels more like autumn than winter. I am so ready for a bunch of snow!! This morning I bought my christmas tree so hopefully tonight or tomorrow night I will be decorating the tree while singing christmas songs. I will close all the curtains and pretend there's snow outside :-)

Today's card is made with stamps and ink only, so no patterned paper. I used a lot of Papertrey Ink stamps to build the background and used a circle from holiday tags 2010 to finish it off. No traditional christmas colors but I like the combo.
